Youth offenders become ICT graduates 2011-03-15

Over 200 youth offenders have graduated from an ICT skills development programme initiated by the Department of Communications (DOC) and the Department of Correctional Services (DCS).

Government partners with the ICDL to address Information and Communication Technology skills shortage 2010-09-30

The Department of Communications (DoC), through the Meraka e-Skills Institute (Meraka e-SI), and the ICDL SA (International Computer Driving Licence of South Africa) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) confirming the development of centres of excellence dedicated to delivering ICT skills to the people of South Africa.
